About us

The original business was established in nearby Moulton in the late 1800s making clogs  for workers in the rapidly expanding alkali industry. It moved to Northwich in the 1930s, when selling and repairing shoes became the more important part of the business.  When Northwich was redeveloped in the 1960s the shop moved into it's current premises close to the market and banks, at the Bull Ring end of Northwich(not far from MacDonalds!)

There is a focus on comfortable, fashionable, fun shoes for both men and ladies. There are good quality ladies' ranges from Rieker, FitFlop, Vionic, Padders, Skechers, Ara, Caprice, and Remonte; and men's from Reiker, Padders, Merrell, Hush Puppy, Skechers, and Cotswold, for men.

To get the maximum comfort from shoes it is important to get the right fit, so if you’d like some good old fashioned customer service and a complimentary fitting please come in and see us. We can be found opposite the market, the nearest car parks are Waitrose (2 hours limit), the Victoria Club and Northwich Memorial Court.
